Here at New Direction Productions we have a history of partnering with the real estate industry. That is a growing trend. Why? Well maybe the difficult market has sent agents searching for better tools to help sell homes. Home buyers are more cautious. They need more incentive for even a showing, and lets face it still photos are just not enticing enough. Other options - well there is the virtual tour, but it is generally slow and notoriously boring. That is were we come in. Potential home buyers, thanks to their forward-looking agents, are able to view interesting videos in their home. And these videos play as quick as the computers they are being viewed on, due to proper web formatting.

All of that is great but no, not enough! Yes, videos on the agent's site are important. If possible please put them on your site. That's sound advice I would give to any agent. However, why stop there? Why limit the Google search? New Direction Productions strongly advocates the creation and use of YouTube channels for the real estate market. More people are on YouTube in any given hour than television, radio, and all forms of print combined. Lets take advantage of that. Traffic is a key component to sales, and a well positioned YouTube channel equals traffic.

Okay, so now an agent has tour videos and a YouTube channel. Well, let's just kick it up a notch. Let's answer a question that all home buyers are going to have before they get too far in the process. Can I trust this agent? Sure the home is beautiful, but if buyers or sellers for that matter don't feel secure in who is handling the purchase or sale of their home they will continue looking. Agents can "introduce" themselves to perspective buyers and sellers via a Getting to Know Your Agent Video. Before the first phone call a sense of trust and familiarity can be established.

Winter Olympics and New Direction Productions

Well lets face it an event as major as the 2010 (twenty-ten) Winter Olympics is bound to have an impact on everyone. New Direction Productions is no exception to that rule. A major focus for our first quarter is ski resorts. All you winter athletes out there that are going to feel inspired to kick your skills up a notch by the worlds best should keep your eyes peeled to our blog. We will be releasing our new promotional and tour videos of some of the country's nicest slopes.
